Great Brickhill Church fungus survey 1

I spent several hours this afternoon at St Mary's, Great Brickhill, with fungi fruiting right, left & centre!

I began by looking around this Hazel tree at the side of the main path

FUNGUS 1 - a mystery species - probably a Lepiota that's reddening (passed on to Penny C)

FUNGUS 2

FUNGUS 3 - Inocybe geophylla (these were in deep darkness around the roots!)

FUNGUS 4 (same as 2?)

FUNGUS 5 (Phoma hedericola)

FUNGUS 6 (Gymnopus erythropus?)

FUNGUS 7 (Coprinellus disseminatus or Psathyrella pygmaea?)

FUNGUS 8 (I think these are all the same)
